2007-09-08: Raven

This raven made her presence known by being very vocal. The ravens are among the birds that spend not only the summer but also the winter here in the canyon.

2007-09-09: Natural Bridge

A true natural bridge is formed by a stream. This is more accurately an arch as it was carved by both rain and frost erosion acting from the top of the rock.

2007-09-10: Hoodoo Beauty

There was such incredible light on the hoodoos it was difficult to choose which to share with you.

2007-09-10: The Tunnel

This tunnel through the mountain was built in 1930 for vehicles of that era. Because of our height and width, traffic was stopped and Al straddled the centerline going through (we paid $15 for this privilege). It was kind of fun watching it go through.
