Whenever we are in this area we get together with my high school friend Sally and her husband Paul. We went into Everett to their favorite pizza place that is across the street from the arena where the Everett Silvertip Hockey team plays. The guys were in a meeting but the team photographer took Tryna on a quick tour and even brought her through their tunnel to the ice. It was very cool!

Eighteen artistically painted pianos have been placed around Everett for professional and novice players to jam on. We found this one, entitled Buccaneers and painted by Lyussy Hyder, near the ferry to Jetty Island. They call this program "Street Tunes".

Our campsite here backs onto the Skykomish River. It sure is fun watching the people floating down the river on rafts and in tubes.

We played bingo at the campground and came out the big winners. Between us, we won 7 of the 10 games including the final blackout game.

Today found us at the fair where we got to see some interesting antique farm equipment.

We were thrilled to again get to see a lumberjack show. Some of the events we got to see were the springboard chop, log rolling and the tree climbing. It was amazing to see how quickly these guys climbed to the top of the pole, rang the bell and then came back down to the ground. If you ever have a chance to see one of these shows, do it!
