The La Conner campground is located on the Puget Sound on the Swinomish Indian Reservation. We have been coming here and photographing the lone pine since 1986. Here is kind of an artsy photo of the famous lone pine.

The sunsets here on the Puget Sound are beautiful. Although this particular night was not spectacular, it was enough to keep me watching.

The Deception Pass bridge which links Fidalgo Island and Whidbey Island is always beautiful but seeing it in the fog gave it almost a mystical feeling.
