We stopped often when we saw old village churches. It was very interesting walking through the graveyards looking at the old stones. What history!

Here at the sea many people have these little beach huts. It's very expensive to rent the land, the huts are pricy and you can't spend the night. Some of the beach huts are set up with propane stoves and porta-potties. We found these in the village of Frinton but saw them in most of the beach villages.

Driving from Holland-On-Sea (where our relatives live) to Harwich we found this wonderful thatch roofed house.
