We headed to Hirsthals early this morning to board our ferry which would cross the Skagerrak to the port of Kristiansand in Norway.

Norway is a country of tunnels. At first it was fun going through them in the bus but then we realized we were missing scenery because of them!

The city is the base for oil exploration in the North Sea. It's harbor houses many beautiful pleasure boats that people here use like second homes.

This section of town, called Gamle Stavanger or Old Stavanger is one of the most coveted places to live in town. Its cobbled streets and old, quaint homes are a delight to see.
