We were so lucky to have come at this time as the flowers seem to be at their peak. Having each grower plant and maintain their plot in the garden makes for a wonderful variety as well as samples of different ways to plant.

2009-04-23: Windmill

This windmill in the park seems to stand watch over the flowers. We were able to climb to the observation deck and get a view of the gardens and surrounding fields from above. What an incredible experience!

2009-04-23: Tulip Fields

In the area surrounding the garden one has an opportunity to see the fields of tulips. They have full time workers that walk the fields looking for sick plants or incorrect colors. Those plants are pulled and discarded.
