A trip into Lincoln City brought us past "D" River which connects Devils Lake and the Pacific Ocean. It is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's shortest river at 120-feet. Lincoln City was incorporated in 1965 when the communities of Oceanlake, Delake, Taft, Cutler City and Nelscott all combined into one larger city.
