Going through the locks are always exciting. These are between Lake Superior and Lake Huron.

2001-08-01: Ore Barge

It is unbelievable that barges this size can fit in the lock. The US locks take both commercial and pleasure craft while the Canadian locks can only hold pleasure craft. We went through the locks of both countries.

2001-08-02: Mackinac Island

As you know (or will now), there are no motorized vehicles on Mackinac Island in Michigan. All travel is done using feet, bikes or horses. We took a carriage ride around the island and this was what Tryna saw.

2001-08-02: Arch Rock

This natural arch formation is incredible to look at. We loved looking at the water through the arch. Unfortunately we were told they anticipate that the arch will collapse soon.
