2010-07-29: Hail
As we neared our campground, we came upon about 30 cars and many emergency vehicles on the side of the highway. We noticed the cars had shattered windshields and missing back windows. At first we thought it was a huge accident and then we spotted huge golf ball size hail on the ground and realized where the damage came from. 5-minutes later when we got back to the motorhome we found we had some damage but nothing that would make us shorten our trip.

Our next stop was Storybook Island. This park, built and maintained by the Rotary Club colorfully depicts fairy tales and nursery rhymes. As we arrived we were told there were children's plays in the theater. Noah got a kick out of this hippo water fountain and enjoyed the park so much that he talked his dad into bringing him again another day while we did our laundry!
